I love your blog ,I often look over it ,I am making the Phoenix gown and I have found your posts really helpful ,I have made a couple of Eleanore gowns ,For the Portrait gown I couldnt get the right colour but I got cut silk velvelt on a grossgrain texute silk background,I made the sleeves removable though as the gowns quite hot ,,I also made a version of the funeral gown
